Legend Of Krigz Demo Launch

I'll keep this one short cause I know last one no one read all of it.

Tldr;

  • Date has come forward 5 days and support will only be for Windows at the moment. I plan on Linux and MacOS later on.

Why move date forward?

Because I can and you've waited long enough. Plus Steam got the date wrong so I have to publish on 25th now.


New settings:

Thanks to play testers I have added new graphics settings that will let lower end systems run the game while still looking good.


Another new setting?

Enable the Experimental option in Settings > Display > Gameplay. This gives you access to the unstable AI that has a more realistic approach and what I've always intended for Krigz to do. This will be default when it's stable.


Saving is not going to be implemented in time so do not expect to have a save system. If you quit the game, everything will be reset. Future updates will slowly introduce the save system.


Sad news though now. Further updates will not be provided in terms of new gameplay. Only bug fixes and optimisation will be pushed through as I work on the full game. I hope to get the full game into early access in 4 months time, where you guys can support the development. No estimate on price at this current stage but I will provide keys throughout future announcements when the full game comes to early access.


Thank you wholeheartedly for your patience and I hope I haven't disappointed anyone thus far.


Also I forgot to mention new gameplay mechanics:

  • Flare gun is now added. Shoot in the direction of Krigz to scare him away. This also lights up large areas without alerting Krigz with noise or electricity. Limited supply of them though!
